I’m later for a gathering, and I’m sitting in traffic. Might as well utilize that time productively, we figure, and so I grab my smartphone, available an application and begin swiping.

Too old. Swipe left. Never ever hitched. Nope, swipe left. Spelling mistakes. An absolute no.

Then We see him. Handsome, high, well-educated, professional, everyday lives nearby. Swipe right.

This will be my entire life, given that I’ve re-joined the singles scene the very first time much more decades I might add, since my husband passed away suddenly two years ago than I care to discuss — involuntarily. And, i’m now searching for the man of my dreams online and through the use of smartphone apps with names like Bumble, Hinge, OK Cupid and Coffee Meets Bagel since I work at home and don’t have the opportunity to meet many people in person. You will find ratings more too, like the better-known Match, Zoosk, a lot of Fish, eHarmony and Tinder.

Things are challenging right here in Southern Florida, because so many solitary females of any age will let you know. And, down here specially, lots of men over 50 (and truly most over 60) are resigned, which creates a challenge for somebody just like me, whom nevertheless works full-time and it has no intends to retire anytime soon (at the least until I’m qualified to receive Medicare).
